Beautiful location on the river to fossil hunt. Anthony was able to identify the fragments collected and give history lessons behind each of them. Fossil hunting in the Peace River was a spectacular adventure. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I were so excited to get into that river, we snapped no photos until we were photographing our finds. I learned how to use the equipment to successfully hunt and the next few hours were pure exploratory elation. The weather conditions provided for us what Anthony (our guide) excitedly called a "legendary hunt" and it was indeed legendary. Nearly every pull had some kind of fossilized bone! We're now waiting with baited breath for some of our finds to be ID'd. I'm finding that I'm disappointed we won't be going hunting again next week (and we will probably chase the dragon for life looking for another amazingly fruitful hunt such as this!) Lotus Cove showed me a new way that I can explore and relish in my environment and connect with our planet's astonishing past while connecting and learning with people I love being around. When the glamping opens, it's on! I'll be back to spend more time in Peace River.

We had the best weekend on the river. My 9 year old son loved fossil hunting and kayaking. We can't wait to go back!!

Beautiful part of the river with a great guide and ALOT of fossils. I actually found an arrowhead out there my first time.

Last Saturday we contacted Anthony for fossil hunting. He was very informative and had great spots for us to dig. It started off a little slow and I was getting discouraged and Anthony reassured us to be patient and look closely into the sifters as not to miss anything. Sure enough not even 5 minutes later as i was getting ready to toss I took a closer look and found a half of a megladon tooth and 3 mini whole teeth from several other sharks. From there I found so many different fossils. He was great at showing us not everything looks like an obvious tooth. There were horse teeth, turtle shell frags and a few other things I cant quite remember off the top of my head but this was a trip to remember for sure and something I would recommend to anyone!

Fossil hunting was alot of fun, I will definitely be recommending this adventure too my friends and family. The guide was super knowledgeable and friendly.
